Energy Procurement Manager

Worksop | £25k – £30k + Bonus

Our prestigious client the UK’s leading energy consultant and carbon delivery partner to individuals, businesses and communities throughout the UK. Due to continued expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Energy Procurement Manager to join their successful team. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing and successful national market leader and work in a team who collectively achieves excellence.

The Role:

The Energy Procurement Manager will be instrumental in setting up and establishing a successful team that will secure new energy contracts on a weekly basis. It will be vital that the applicant can develop a detailed knowledge of energy contracts so that the best tariff for each client can be identified. As manager of the team a key responsibility will be the development of specific streams of customer enquiries.

Skills / Experience required:

- A strong energy sales focused background
- A proven team manager
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to take on challenging stakeholders
- Passionate about sales and client negotiation
- Professional, friendly and outgoing personality with strength of character
- Track record of exceeding sales targets – business to business
- High achiever with a systematic approach to delivering substantial targets
- Commercial awareness
- Initiative and self drive
- Computer literacy
- Excellent attention to detail
- Management of energy sales consultants
- Knowledge of the energy sales sector
- An understanding of the pricing process, sales and conversions required
- Qualifications in business or marketing would be beneficial but not essential
- Ready to step up and make a difference

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager your main responsibilities will include:

- Leading the energy sales team
- Collaborative working with the Marketing Team to generate enquiries
- Responsible for growing the Effective Energy database of clients
- Driving sales and increasing company turnover
- Managing the customer journey from lead source to pricing & securing the sale
- Ensuring a sales margin is achieved
- Ensuring full compliance in line with the TPI Code of Practice
- Initiating new ideas and offers around aftercare and added value sales
- To ensure that we are providing the highest standards of customer service
- Development of specific streams of customer enquiries

Hours of work:

Monday – Friday  9.00am  – 5.00pm
