Our prestigious client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding company with over 10 years specialising in innovative IT and professional development projects working in partnership with schools and colleges throughout the North East / North West. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Telemarketing / Team Leader to join their successful team. Skills and Experienced required:
- Track record in leading a team to success in a collegiate manner
- Ability to motivate and inspire
- Proven working experience within a sales environment
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Previous Outbound telesales experience
- Excellent Customer service skills
- Ability to liaise with people at all levels of seniority in a professional manner at all times
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word
- Good standard of numerical and written skills
- Ability to adapt to our new web based CRM system
- Commercially aware
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident and driven personality
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Working within and leading a small dedicated team of telemarketing account managers
- Ensure that we are providing the highest standards of customer service at all times
- Achieve monthly sales targets
- Regularly source new leads
- Manage your region effectively and consistently to increase business
- Understand and explain effectively the features, benefits and proposition behind IRIS
- Lead the account management team in consistently following the sales methodology, best practices and through own initiatives
- Treat employees fairly, provide frequent constructive feedback and encouragement, and demonstrates a sincere interest in their success and well-being
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to account managers regarding sales abilities, presentation skills, product knowledge and the education sector
- Review account managers function including sales call activity, lead follow up, prospecting and performance for each individual account managers; personnel issues; and personal/professional developmental opportunities
- Provide day-to-day guidance for account managers in matters of problem resolution, sales strategies, competitive analysis, pricing and company policy
- Help identify staffing needs and recruit new members
- Assess skill sets and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members in order to meet objectives, reinforce sales methodology and provide guidance on direction for success
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and ability to articulate our value proposition
Hours of work:
Monday – Friday (37.5 Hours)
