Account Manager

Doncaster | £15,600k (Term Time Only)

Our prestigious client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding company with over 10 years specialising in innovative IT and professional development projects working in partnership with schools and colleges throughout the North East / North West.  They are now looking to recruit experienced Account Managers to join their successful team. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual to join a like minded and friendly team.

Skills and Experience required:

  • A successful proactive telesales professional with at least two years business to business telesales or telemarketing experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent negotiating and influencing skills
  • Able to meet goals within fixed deadlines
  • Focused and target driven
  • Proactive approach to workload
  • Ability to establish rapport, ‘fact find’ and naturally build relationships to ultimately get a presentation of the companies’ product
  • Efficient with strong organisation and planning skills
  • Self motivated and ability to work on own initiative
  • A positive “can do” attitude and the willingness to go that extra mile

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • New business generation through appointment setting
  • Plan and carry out telephone, emailing and written activities to set up appointments
  • Build relationships
  • Deliver planned campaigns
  • Follow up on quotes
  • Maintain customer database
  • Contact Senior Teachers and Heads of Schools
  • Establish the correct contact for the school and update the CMS package and record all information correctly
  • Ability to make in the region of 70 + contacts each day

Hours of work:

Monday – Friday (37.5 Hours)
