Digital Learning Applications Consultant

Rotherham | £28k – £35k

Our prestigious client is a world leading Training organisation based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Digital Learning Applications Consultant (C#, VB.Net, HTML, CSS, ASP.Net, SQL) to join their successful team. This is a unique opportunity to join an established company who pride themselves on their professionalism and expertise within their industry sector.

Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for promoting and co-ordinating the development of their digital learning technologies and applications to support client implementations and enhance core product suites.

  • ASP.Net
  • SQL Databases
  • Detailed Learning Support System knowledge (LMS, CMS, SCORMCLOUD)
  • Excellent project management and project co-ordination skills
  • Good working knowledge of deploying digital learning and development initiatives
  • Industry knowledge and experience of digital learning technology solutions and applications
  • E-learning programming skills (familiarity with Flash, Articulate, Storyline, SmartBuilder)
  • Ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders to achieve defined goals within agreed timescales.
  • Experience of collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve project goals (e.g. existing application developers, instructional designers, training teams and business development teams
  • Experience of working in an external client facing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as a team player
  • Proactive and able to work on own initiative
  • Flexibility to change and adapt to the day to day requirements of the role

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Co-ordinate all stakeholders working with external clients to assess and communicate the feasibility and design of bespoke projects and with internal stakeholders to understand the business needs for particular projects and shape the outcome accordingly
  • Work closely with clients to advise and guide on the integration of learning technologies into their client environment
  • Direct contact and communication with clients as projects evolve and become implemented
  • Provide support and guidance to Account Managers based on a strong understanding in order to effectively implement learning technologies and applications
  • Drive and co-ordinate the project to a successful conclusion
  • Represent  learning technology and applications to clients and internal teams
  • Develop applications in support of the above, if workload requires
  • Work closely with existing IT Applications Developers providing direction and project support to maintain and enhance existing learning applications and develop new learning applications as required

    Monday – Friday (35 Hours)
