Our prestigious client is a leading manufacturer within the plastics industry. Due to continued expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Logistics Administrator to join their successful team. The Role:
The main objective of this role is to ensure Cost effective and accurate despatch of stock suitably timed to their customers’ satisfaction at all times

- Experience of working within a similar role
Reprting directly to the Warehouse Manager your main responsibilities will include:
- Collating the sales order book
- Allocating stock
- Generating picking lists
- Resolving stock shortage issues
- Consolidating loads
- Ensuring full truck loads
- Following the commercial terms as agreed with the customer
- Using the lowest cost route to meet delivery deadlines
- Obtaining delivery bookings from customer warehouses
- Arranging vehicles with transport companies
- Planning loading times to meet clients requirements
- Using customer backhaul facility
- Ensuring transport invoices are correctly priced
- Resolving queries on shortages, damages, delivery times
- Liaising with Sales and Production
- Dealing with exports and imports
- Dealing with ad hoc transport requests
Hours of work:
Monday – Friday
