Our prestigious client is one of the UK’s leading independent brokers providing expert advice on Health Care Insurance products. Due to continued expansion they are now looking to recruit talented & professional Sales Consultants to join their successful team and work in their friendly and supportive environment. Reporting directly to the Team Manager your main responsibilities will include:

  • Achieve monthly sales targets by calling on leads generated by the CCT team to fact find, recommend and close sales
  • Customer contact managed and developed to deliver profitable business and secure quality sales that maximise business opportunities whilst meeting customer needs
  • Initial consultation with customers undertaken to obtain relevant fact find, hard and soft facts, client objectives, aspirations and attitude to risk to enable suitable advice to be given which meets customers’ circumstances
  • Advice presented to customers ensuring compliant sales which meet customer needs and company standards for quality of advice and documentation achieved
  • Customer needs understood to ensure that the correct product is sold
  • Quality best practice followed, and best practice ideas shared with manager, to ensure consistency across sales
  • Operate within FCA guidelines
  • Ensure a high retention rate record and maintain a low cancellation rate
  • Maintaining the customer database, ensuring total compliance with Data Protection Act and FCA regulations
  • Learn and maintain a good understanding of PMI and relevant industry regulation
  • You are required to understand and comply with all relevant rules, regulation and legislation applicable to your role.  This means:-
  • Acting with integrity and due skill, care and diligence at all times
  • Ensuring that customers are treated fairly at all times
  • Ensuring that communications via any medium meet the principle of ‘clear, fair and not misleading’
  • Undertaking relevant internally arranged training on systems, processes and regulatory requirements relevant to your role
  • Identifying and escalating (through your line manager) risks that impact the business, customers or other third parties
  • Reporting (through your line manager) any issues and/or system/process failures that may impact on service to customers

Hours of work:

Monday – Thursday – 10.00 am – 8.00 pm, Friday 10.00 am – 2.00 pm .
