Property Consultant

Lincolnshire | £15k + Commission + Expenses

Our prestigious client is an independent leading Property Lettings agent with over 5 years unrivalled experience. Due to continued growth and expansion they are now looking to recruit an experienced Property Consultant to join their successful team. This is a unique opportunity to join an established company that will offer excellent career progression and stability to the successful candidate.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Technical award in Residential Lettings & Management level 3 is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to successfully negotiate between landlords and tenants ensuring a successful outcome
  • Knowledge & understanding of property management and lettings operation as a senior administrative level
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • To have knowledge & understanding of negotiation and valuing in a property management and lettings operation
  • Professional telephone manner and ability to deal with queries in a confident and timely manner
  • Confident, team player
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to work in a systematic, methodical and orderly way whilst consistently achieving set goals
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to both tenants and landlords in order to provide and maintain high standards and first class service at all times
  • Proven track record of negotiating/valuing successful lettings between landlords and tenants in a lettings/property management business
  • Excellent working knowledge of IT applications; Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet applications and Diary Management tools

Reporting directly to the Managing Director your main responsibilities will include:

  • Taking landlord and tenant lead calls, in line with company procedure and adding the information to the CRM
  • Making appointments and undertaking market appraisals
  • Booking appointments and carrying out viewings on properties to let
  • Managing the office diary
  • Ensuring photos and descriptions of properties are inputted onto the website, brochures, and other media forums
  • Ordering and monitoring ‘To Let’ boards
  • Checking websites for potential leads
  • Following up on viewings and obtaining feedback from potential tenants
  • Contacting landlords with new tenant details
  • Successfully negotiating rents and deposits with landlords and tenants
  • Processing application forms and references for potential tenants
  • Receiving rents and deposits and providing receipts
  • Organising the Check in appointments for Property Managers
  • Monitoring the keys for all properties
  • Organising inventories for new listings

 

Hours of Work:

Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm with an hour for lunch, however a degree of flexibility will be required due to the nature of the role.
