Position: Marketing & Sales Officer
Salary: £27k – £33k
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

Our prestigious client is a UK based consultancy firm, specialising in asset management and business  improvement specialists by delivering world class performance.  Due to continued expansion they  are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing & Sales Officer to join their successful team.

The Role:

This is a key and diverse role where you will be responsible for managing and developing our clients  multi-channel marketing communications to support overseas and UK business development for  consultancy services and training courses.

Skills and Knowledge required:

● Ideally degree educated with a Diploma in Marketing although not a prerequisite
● Minimum of five years’ experience in a B2B marketing role
● Experience of delivering communications across all on and off-line channels
● Experience of using web, digital, social media & production formats
● Experienced in developing and managing external relationships with third party providers e.g.  printers, advertising and PR agencies
● Experienced in budget management, allocation, monitoring, tracking and reporting
● Strong project management skills, ability to manage and coordinate multiple concurrent  projects – on  time and budget
● Confident with strong written & verbal communication skills
● Ability to work well under pressure, think creatively, use own initiative and react well to last  minute changes

Your main responsibilities will include:

● Produce the marketing communications plan to increase our clients brand presence, market share, launch new products and services and support the business objectives
● Plan campaigns, programmes and events, create project leads and increase enquiries
● Liaise with the Board and consultants to promote new and exciting services
● Manage all processes and procedures to ensure quality output of all materials, campaigns, programmes, events and quality brand representation through all web, digital and off – line  media
● Work with external agencies to develop marketing collateral, brochures, exhibition material,  website and digital communications and other in-house materials and documentation
● Compliance with all aspects of the Data Protection Act & GDPR requirements in all ransactions and all information is handled in a confidential manner
● Manage the website, keeping it updated
● Direct digital strategy: use of LinkedIn groups & company blogs/ Twitter
● Use digital tools to track emails sent & website traffic
● Database management; improve the utilisation of the Customer Relationship Management system to ensure successful direct marketing programmes
● Plan regular/monthly e-marketing mailers to communicate upcoming courses and targeted  e-marketing campaigns
● Plan and organise seminars, conferences and exhibitions, working with various associations and government bodies
