Technical Sales Executive

Our prestigious client has over 12 years experience of design, engineering, manufacture and installation process equipment to global Chemical, Petrochemical and Oil Refineries throughout the UK and Internationally. Due to continued expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Executive to join their successful team. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing company that will offer excellent career progression and stability for the successful candidate.

The Role:

The Sales Executive will carry out a key role as part of the Sales Team in identifying opportunities, growing the business and establishing strong client relationships to enhance our client’s position in the market place. The Sales Executive will need to be self motivated and able to confidently present my clients portfolio of products and services by providing first class service to both existing accounts and new business.


Skills and Experience required:

• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
• Highly motivated, professional, team player
• Proven track record in selling business to business within a technical field
• Exceptional interpersonal skills leading to the closure of business transactions
• Flexible and able to work to strict often tight timescales and deadlines
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to “think outside the box”
• High achiever with a systematic approach to delivering substantial targets
• Proactive Approach
• Develop innovative solutions
• Flexibility to travel (within a defined geographical area)
• Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Packages, especially Excel

 

Reporting directly to the Sales Director your main responsibilities will include:

• Ability to establish strong relationships and develop a client base who have specific requirements for our clients products and services
• Create and maintain a pipeline of business opportunities
• To account manage clients and ensure that you are providing all their requirement needs
• Manage diary and meetings with the Sales Director and the rest of the sales  team
• Provide weekly reports on area activity to the Sales Director
• To visit and meet potential new clients
• Manage the regional account base to maximise business opportunities
• Work closely with the existing sales team

 

Hours of work

Monday – Friday to be agreed – a degree of flexibility will be required due to the nature of the role
